Nam Ji-hyun (Hangul: 남지현) is a prominent South Korean actress born on September 17, 1995. Beginning her career as a child actress, she successfully transitioned into adult leading roles across television and film.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Nam Ji-hyun was born in South Korea on September 17, 1995. She entered the entertainment industry at a young age, quickly establishing herself as a prolific child and teen actress in television dramas. Early notable juvenile roles include portraying the young Princess Deokman in the acclaimed 2009 MBC historical drama The Great Queen Seondeok, as well as young counterparts in series such as East of Eden, Will It Snow For Christmas?, and Giant.

Transition to Leading Roles

As she matured, Nam successfully moved into adult starring parts. In 2014, she starred in the family drama What Happens to My Family?, earning recognition as Best New Actress at the KBS Drama Awards. She secured her first major adult leading television roles in romantic comedies and thrillers, including Shopping King Louis (2016) alongside Seo In-guk, Suspicious Partner (2017) with Ji Chang-wook, and the historical romance hit 100 Days My Prince (2018).
