Nae Yeojachinguneun Sangnamja

Nae Yeojachinguneun Sangnamja (also known by its literal title My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from July 23 to August 28, 2025. The series consists of 12 episodes and was broadcast in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:50 time slot.

Background

The drama is based on the webcomic of the same name written by Massstar, which was serialized on Naver between August 30, 2018, and January 16, 2020. The television adaptation was directed by Yoo Kwan-Mo with a screenplay by Lee Hae-Na.

Plot

The story follows Park Yoon-Jae (Yoon San-Ha), an astronomy student who begins a relationship with Kim Ji-Eun (Arin). Their lives change when Kim Ji-Eun undergoes a sudden physical transformation, appearing as a man. Adopting the name Kim Ji-Hoon (portrayed by Yoo Jung-Hoo), she seeks guidance from her boyfriend on navigating life in her new form. The couple attempts to maintain their relationship while searching for a way to reverse the transformation. Complicating matters is the presence of Kang Min-Joo (Chuu), a fellow university student who harbors feelings for Park Yoon-Jae.
