My Troublesome Star
My Troublesome Star (Korean: 금쪽같은 내 스타) is a South Korean television drama series that aired in 2025. The series was broadcast on the ENA network, occupying the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot. It premiered on August 18, 2025, and concluded its 12-episode run on September 23, 2025.
Plot
The story follows Im Se-Ra, a former celebrity who disappeared from the public eye. Twenty-five years later, she resurfaces as Bong Cheong-Ja (played by Uhm Jung-Hwa), a middle-aged woman who has lost her memories of the intervening decades. As she attempts to stage a comeback to reclaim her past life and identity, she crosses paths with Dokgo Cheol (played by Song Seung-Heon).
Dokgo Cheol is a former detective from the violent crimes department who was demoted to a traffic police officer following an unexpected incident. In an effort to return to his former position, he goes undercover as a manager. His life takes a significant turn when he encounters Bong Cheong-Ja, who claims to be the missing star Im Se-Ra.
