My Lovely Liar

My Lovely Liar (Korean: 소용없어 거짓말) is a South Korean television series that aired on tvN from July 31 to September 19, 2023. The drama follows the story of Mok Sol-hee, a woman who possesses the supernatural ability to distinguish whether people are telling the truth or lying. Because of this, she struggles to trust others and views her gift as a burden. Her life changes when she encounters a man suspected of murder who maintains his innocence despite widespread skepticism.

Production and Broadcast

The series was directed by Nam Sung-woo, with a screenplay written by Seo Jung-eun and Kim Ha-na. It was broadcast on tvN during the Monday and Tuesday 20:50 time slot. The show succeeded Delightfully Deceitful and was followed by Twinkling Watermelon, which premiered on September 25, 2023.

Cast

The main cast features Kim So-hyun as Mok Sol-hee and Minhyun as Kim Do-ha. Supporting roles include Seo Ji-hoon as Lee Gang-min and Lee Si-woo as Syaon.
