My Fiction (Japanese: マイ・フィクション, Romaji: Myu Fikushon) is a Japanese television drama series broadcast on the TV Asahi and ABC networks. The series is scheduled to begin broadcasting on July 5, 2026, airing on Sundays at 22:15. The production is written by Junpei Yamaoka and directed by Yoshifumi Udou, Yui Matsusaki, and Taro Miyaoka.

Plot Synopsis

The story follows Masaki Igawa, an ordinary resident living in the peaceful town of Morinuma Nextown. The town prides itself on a record of zero reported crime cases for 1,100 consecutive days. Masaki works as a caregiver at a nursing home and has been married to his wife, Mayumi, for six years, maintaining amicable relationships with both his neighbors and coworkers. After suffering an accident that causes him to fall into a coma, Masaki wakes up one week later and rushes home, only to discover an impostor living as him. Furthermore, his coworkers, neighbors, and wife Mayumi exhibit no memories of him.
