My Demon
My Demon (Korean: 마이 데몬) is a South Korean television series that aired on the SBS network. The series blends elements of fantasy and romantic comedy. It premiered on November 24, 2023, and concluded its 16-episode run on January 20, 2024. The show occupied the Friday and Saturday 22:00 time slot.
Plot
The story follows Do Do-Hee, played by Kim You-Jung, the successor to the Future Group. Characterized by a cynical and guarded personality, she maintains a skeptical view of love. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she becomes entangled with Jeong Gu-Won, a demon portrayed by Song Kang.
Jeong Gu-Won has existed for two centuries, sustaining his immortality by engaging in precarious deals with humans facing desperate circumstances. After encountering Do-Hee, he unexpectedly loses his supernatural abilities. To prevent his own extinction, he enters into a contract marriage with her, as she has come into possession of his lost powers. As they navigate this arrangement, their relationship evolves into a romantic connection.
