Plot
The series is set during the Joseon period, specifically during the turmoil of the Qing invasion (January 3, 1637 – February 24, 1637). The narrative follows the complex relationship between Lee Jang-Hyun, a mysterious man with a hidden past, and Yoo Gil-Chae, the daughter of a noble family. As they navigate the hardships of the invasion, their connection evolves, and Gil-Chae undergoes significant personal growth.
