My Dear Cat
My Dear Cat (Korean: 고양이는 있다; RR: Goyangineun Idda) is a South Korean television series that aired on KBS1 from June 9 to November 21, 2014. The drama consists of 119 episodes and was broadcast in the Monday to Friday 20:25 time slot.
Plot
The story follows Ko Yang-Soon (Choi Yoon-Young), a woman who once aspired to be a novelist but abandoned her dream following the death of her father. She works as a magazine reporter and unexpectedly takes in a stray cat, despite suffering from allergies. Her life intersects with Yeom Chi-Woong (Hyun Woo), a man who dropped out of law school against his family's wishes to pursue photography. Chi-Woong works at a private detective agency and encounters Yang-Soon while searching for a client's missing cat. Through their connection, the two characters begin to uncover long-hidden truths regarding their families.

Production
The series was directed by Kim Won-Yong and written by Lee Eun-Joo. It occupied the KBS1 daily drama time slot, following the conclusion of Melody of Love and preceding You Are The Only One.
Awards
At the 2014 KBS Drama Awards, held on December 31, 2014, Choi Yoon-Young received the award for Excellent Actress in a daily drama for her performance in the series.
