Plot

The story follows Yu-Li, a 16-year-old student who faces disciplinary action at school after leaving home. Her parents attribute her behavioral changes to her association with a juvenile delinquent named Jun. Despite these suspicions, the relationship between Yu-Li and Jun is depicted as platonic, with Jun acting as a protector for Yu-Li and their peers against societal violence.

The narrative reaches a turning point when Jun stabs the paramour of Yu-Li's mother. Following this, Jun, Yu-Li, and their friends flee in search of an idealized island. Faced with the harsh realities of a society they feel has abandoned them, the group eventually experiences a tragic turn when Jun is killed. In the aftermath, the remaining youths reconcile with their parents.
