My Daughter, Geum Sa-Wol is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the MBC network. The series consists of 51 episodes and was broadcast from September 5, 2015, to February 28, 2016, in the Saturday and Sunday 21:45 time slot.
Production
The series was directed by Baek Ho-Min and Lee Jae-Jin, with the screenplay written by Kim Sun-Ok. The production team of Baek Ho-Min and Kim Sun-Ok had previously collaborated on the 2014 MBC drama Come! Jang Bo-Ri. During its development, the drama was known by the working title Naega! Geumsawol (I Am Geum Sa-Wol). The series replaced Flower of the Queen in its time slot and was subsequently followed by Marriage Contract in March 2016.
Plot
The narrative centers on Geum Sa-Wol, played by Baek Jin-Hee, who strives to construct a dream home for her family after it has been fractured by cycles of hatred and revenge.
