My Annoying Brother (2016 Film)
My Annoying Brother (Korean: 형; RR: Hyeong) is a 2016 South Korean comedy-drama film directed by Kwon Soo-kyung and written by Yoo Young-a. The film explores the complex relationship between two estranged brothers who are forced to live together after years of separation.

Plot
Ko Doo-sik (Cho Jung-seok) is a man serving a prison sentence for fraud. Upon learning that his younger step-brother, Ko Doo-young (Do Kyung-soo), has lost his eyesight following a judo injury, Doo-sik uses the situation to petition for parole. He is granted release on the condition that he serves as his brother's caregiver for one year.
Doo-young, a former promising judo athlete, has become isolated and withdrawn following his accident and the loss of his parents. The forced reunion between the brothers is initially marked by hostility and resentment. Lee Soo-hyun (Park Shin-hye), Doo-young's former judo coach, remains one of the few people attempting to support him during this transition.

Production
The film was produced by Choi Sun-hee and Lee Yong-nam, with cinematography by Ki Se-hoon. Principal photography for the project commenced on October 19, 2015, and concluded on December 31, 2015. Filming took place in Songpa, Seoul, South Korea.

Reception and Awards
The film received recognition at major South Korean film ceremonies in 2017. Do Kyung-soo was awarded Best New Actor at the 38th Blue Dragon Film Awards and was recognized as the Most Popular Actor at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards.
