Ms. Ma, Nemesis (Korean: 미스 마, 복수의 여신; RR: Miseu Ma, Boksuui Yeosin) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from October 6 to November 24, 2018. The drama is a reimagining of the classic Miss Marple mystery novel series written by Agatha Christie.
Plot
The story follows a woman who is falsely accused of murdering her own daughter. After escaping from prison, she works to uncover the truth behind her daughter's death. Throughout the series, she utilizes her investigative skills to solve various criminal cases in her vicinity, seeking both justice and the identity of the true culprit.
Production
The series was directed by Min Yeon-Hong and Lee Jung-Hoon, with a screenplay written by Park Jin-Woo. The project was originally developed under the working title Miss Ma. The first script reading for the cast took place on July 31, 2018, at the SBS Studio in Tanhyun, Ilsan, South Korea.
The drama occupied the Saturday 20:45 time slot on SBS, following the conclusion of Let Me Introduce Her and preceding Fates & Furies, which began airing on December 1, 2018.
