Mr. Plankton (Korean: Mr. 플랑크톤) is a South Korean television series released on Netflix on November 8, 2024. The series was directed by Hong Jong-Chan and written by Jo Yong. It consists of 10 episodes.

Plot Synopsis

The story centers on Hae-Jo, played by Woo Do-Hwan, a man who has lived his life feeling like an outsider because he does not know the identity of his biological father. After receiving life-altering news, he embarks on a journey to find his father. He is accompanied by Jo Jae-Mi, portrayed by Lee Yoo-Mi, a woman who has long desired to start a family of her own.

Jo Jae-Mi is betrothed to Eo Heung, the successor to a prominent food company managed by his mother, Bum Ho-Ja. Although the family initially disapproves of the marriage, they accept her after being told she is pregnant. However, on the day of the wedding, Jo Jae-Mi disappears with Hae-Jo before the ceremony can take place.
