Mousetrap (South Korean Television Series)
Mousetrap is an upcoming South Korean thriller drama series developed for Netflix. Directed by Kim Hong-Sun and written by Lee Jae-Gon, the series is adapted from the Kakao webcomic titled Deuljwee by author Ludovico.
Production and Background
The series is based on the webcomic Deuljwee, which was originally published on Kakao between February 9, 2017, and April 10, 2020. The project was developed under the working title The Rat and carries the literal Korean title Deuljwee.

Premise
The story follows Mun-Jae, a reclusive novelist who discovers that his identity, property, and name have been stolen by an individual known as Rat after his sole companion disappears. In his quest to recover his identity, Mun-Jae encounters No-Ja, a dangerous loan shark and private detective agency operator who has been searching for Mun-Jae for three years following an unpaid debt. No-Ja subsequently joins the pursuit of Rat to secure his owed funds.
