Plot
The narrative centers on a critical situation where a bank, partially owned by the South Korean government, faces the threat of bankruptcy. This development triggers fears of a repeat of the 1997 Asian financial crisis. Officials at the Financial Services Commission work to manage the situation and prevent a wider economic catastrophe.
Key characters include Chae Yi-Hun (played by Ko Soo), a dedicated chief in the Economic Policy Bureau who keeps his family background as the son of a renowned economist secret. Heo Jae (played by Lee Sung-Min), the ambitious chairman of the Financial Services Commission, seeks to overhaul the nation's financial infrastructure, driven by his disillusionment following the 1997 crisis.
