Miyu Yagyu

Miyu Yagyu (Japanese: 柳生みゆ) is a Japanese actress born on October 20, 1990, in Osaka, Japan. Standing 156 centimeters tall with blood type O, she has built a diverse career appearing in both feature films and television drama series.

Film Career

Miyu Yagyu has taken on various roles in Japanese cinema spanning child actor to adult projects. Her early film credits include The Wind Carpet (2003) as Sakura Nagai, Two Love (2005), Shichinin no tomurai (2005) as Shoko Nishiyama, and I Just Didn't Do It (2006) portraying Toshiko Furukawa. Other film appearances include Akanezora (2007) as Okimi, Stay (2007), Hatsuyuki no koi: Virgin snow (2007), Goth (2008), Birthright (2010), Oh Lucy! (2018), All the Things We Never Said (2020) as Sachiko Iimura, and Mystery Arena (2026) as Sayaka.

Television Work

In addition to her film work, Yagyu has maintained a steady presence in Japanese television dramas and TV movies. Her television career features roles in NHK projects such as Carnation (2011–2012) as Shizuko Ohara, the morning drama Asa ga Kita (2015–2016) as Sachi Shiroka, and Mi wo Tsukushi Ryoricho (2017).
