Miss Lee (South Korean Television Series)
Miss Lee, also known by its literal title Chungil Electronics Miss Lee, is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the cable network tvN in 2019. The series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast from September 25 to November 14, 2019, in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:30 time slot.
Plot
The story follows Lee Sun-Sim, played by Hyeri, a hardworking clerk at Cheongil Electronics. Despite her dedication to various menial tasks, she is often overlooked and referred to by the diminutive "Miss Lee" rather than her full name. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she is unexpectedly promoted to the position of CEO of the company, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. With the guidance of department head Yoo Jin-Wook, portrayed by Kim Sang-Kyung, she attempts to lead the company through its financial crisis while developing her own leadership style based on humility and perseverance.
Production and Broadcast
The series was directed by Han Dong-Hwa and written by Park Jung-Hwa. It occupied the time slot previously held by When the Devil Calls Your Name and was succeeded by Psychopath Diary on November 20, 2019.
