Miss Baek (2018 Film)
Miss Baek (Korean: 미쓰백) is a 2018 South Korean drama film written and directed by Lee Ji-Won. The film explores themes of social isolation, trauma, and the protection of vulnerable individuals.

Plot
The story follows Baek Sang-A (Han Ji-Min), a woman living with the stigma of a criminal record. Her past prevents her from forming meaningful connections with others. Her life changes when she encounters a young girl, Kim Ji-Eun (Kim Si-A), who is suffering from abuse. Recognizing her own traumatic childhood in the girl, Sang-A decides to intervene and protect her from a cruel environment. Meanwhile, Jang-Sub (Lee Hee-Jun), a man who cares for Sang-A, attempts to support her efforts to save the child.
Production
The film was directed and written by Lee Ji-Won. Production began in early February 2017. The film was distributed by Little Big Pictures.

Reception and Awards
The film received critical recognition for its performances. At the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2019, Han Ji-Min won Best Actress, Kwon So-Hyun won Best Supporting Actress, and Lee Ji-Won won Best New Director. Additionally, Han Ji-Min received the Best Actress award at the 39th Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2018.
