Memory (Korean: 기억; RR: Gieok) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the cable network tvN in 2016. The series explores the life of a successful lawyer who receives a life-altering diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's disease.

Production

The series was directed by Park Chan-hong and written by Kim Ji-woo. Production and filming for the project commenced in January 2016. The show occupied the Friday and Saturday 20:30 time slot on tvN, succeeding the series Signal and preceding Dear My Friends. The series ran for 16 episodes, concluding on May 7, 2016.

Plot

The narrative centers on Park Tae-suk, a high-powered attorney who has built his career on ambition and success. His life takes a dramatic turn when he is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The story follows his efforts to navigate his remaining time, manage his professional responsibilities, and reconcile with his past and his family as his memory begins to fade.
