Melting Me Softly
Melting Me Softly (Korean: 날 녹여주오; RR: Nal Nokyeojuo) is a South Korean television series that aired on the cable network tvN from September 28 to November 17, 2019. The series, which consists of 16 episodes, was directed by Shin Woo-Cheol and written by Baek Mi-Kyeong.
Plot
The story follows Ma Dong-Chan, a television producer, and Ko Mi-Ran, a participant in his variety show. The two agree to take part in a 24-hour human freezing experiment. Due to a mysterious conspiracy, they do not wake up after the intended 24 hours but instead remain frozen for 20 years. Upon waking, they discover that while they have not aged, everyone else in their lives has aged two decades. To survive, they must maintain a core body temperature of 31.5°C, a condition that complicates their lives and leads to a romantic connection.

Production
The series marked the first acting role for lead actor Ji Chang-Wook following his discharge from the South Korean military on April 27, 2019. The first script reading for the production took place in June 2019 in the Sangam neighborhood of Seoul. The drama occupied the Saturday and Sunday 21:00 time slot on tvN, following Arthdal Chronicles and preceding Crash Landing on You.
