Meet the In-Laws (2011 Film)
Meet the In-Laws (Korean: 위험한 상견례; RR: Uiheomhan Sangkyeonrye) is a 2011 South Korean romantic comedy film directed by Kim Jin-Young. The film explores the cultural and regional prejudices between families from the Jeolla-do and Busan regions of South Korea.

Plot
The story follows Hyun-Joon, a comic book artist from the Jeolla-do region who is currently working in Seoul. He falls in love with Da-Hong, a woman from the port city of Busan. As their relationship moves toward marriage, they face significant opposition from Da-Hong's father, a former professional baseball pitcher who harbors a deep-seated prejudice against people from Jeolla-do due to a career-ending injury caused by a pitcher from that region. Simultaneously, Hyun-Joon's father pressures him to marry a local woman from his own hometown. To overcome these obstacles, the couple attempts to deceive Da-Hong's family by claiming that Hyun-Joon is a native of Seoul, forcing him to hide his regional dialect.
