May Queen (South Korean TV Series)
May Queen is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the MBC network from August 18 to December 23, 2012. The series, directed by Baek Ho-min and written by Son Young-mok, consists of 38 episodes and was broadcast during the Saturday and Sunday 21:45 time slot.

Plot Synopsis
The narrative follows the life of Cheon Hae-joo, whose father, an oil scholar, is killed due to the betrayal of Jang Do-hyun. Following the incident, Do-hyun orders Park Gi-chul to eliminate the two-year-old Hae-joo. Unable to carry out the order, Gi-chul instead stages the child's death and leaves her in the care of his acquaintance, Hong-chul. Unaware of her daughter's survival, Hae-joo's mother eventually marries Do-hyun. Years later, the story centers on Hae-joo's struggles as she navigates her family's financial hardships and her eventual reconnection with her past.
