Matrimonial Chaos (2018 South Korean TV Series)
Matrimonial Chaos (Korean: 최고의 이혼; RR: Choigoui Ihon) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2 from October 8 to November 27, 2018. The series consists of 32 episodes, broadcast in the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot. It is a remake of the 2013 Japanese drama series Saikou no Rikon, originally produced by Fuji TV.

Plot
The story follows Jo Seok-Moo (Cha Tae-Hyun), a man who graduated from a prestigious university but failed to achieve his dream of becoming a musician. Unable to secure a traditional career, he works for a security service company. He is married to Kang Whee-Roo (Bae Doo-Na), a woman with an easy-going and positive personality. Despite being married for three years, their contrasting temperaments—Seok-Moo's stubbornness and preference for solitude versus Whee-Roo's optimism—lead to marital strain, eventually prompting Seok-Moo to request a divorce. The narrative further complicates when they encounter another couple, Jin Yoo-Young (Lee El) and Lee Jang-Hyun (Son Suk-Ku), with Yoo-Young being Seok-Moo's first love.
Production
The series was directed by Yoo Hyun-Ki and written by Moon Jung-Min. It replaced the drama Lovely Horribly in its time slot and was succeeded by Just Dance in December 2018.
