Master (2016 South Korean Film)

Master is a 2016 South Korean crime action film directed by Cho Ui-seok. The narrative centers on an intellectual crime investigation team as they pursue a massive fraud case involving the company Won Network.

Plot

The film follows the efforts of an elite police unit dedicated to investigating financial crimes. Kim Jae-myung, the charismatic and determined leader of the investigation team, orchestrates an operation to dismantle Won Network, a company implicated in a large-scale fraudulent scheme. The conflict pits Kim against the company's president, Jin, and the organization's tech-savvy section chief, Park Jang-goon, who serves as the mastermind behind the company's operations.

Production

The film was directed by Cho Ui-seok, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Kim Hyun-duk. Principal photography for the project commenced on April 23, 2016, and concluded on September 22, 2016. The film was distributed by CJ Entertainment and released in South Korea on December 21, 2016.
