Masanobu Takashima: Japanese Actor Career and Filmography
Masanobu Takashima (高嶋 政伸, Takashima Masanobu) is a prominent Japanese actor born on October 27, 1966, in Tokyo, Japan. A graduate of Seijo University, he stands 180 cm tall and has blood type B. He comes from a well-known entertainment family; his older brother is actor Masahiro Takashima, and his sister-in-law is actress and singer Sylvia Grab.

Acting Career
Takashima has maintained an extensive career across Japanese cinema and television dramas since the late 1980s. He has appeared in numerous high-profile film projects, including tokusatsu and genre cinema such as Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989) as Major Sho Kuroki and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004) as Major Kita. His other cinematic credits include Assassination Classroom (2015), L: Change the World (2008), and Howling Village (2020).
In addition to his film work, Takashima is well-recognized for his versatile roles in television dramas (dorama) spanning decades, ranging from NHK taiga dramas like Sanadamaru (2016) where he portrayed Ujimasa Hojo, to medical and suspense series such as the DOCTORS: The Ultimate Surgeon franchise on TV Asahi, in which he played the surgeon Suguru Moriyama.
