Masanobu Katsumura (Japanese: 勝村政信) is a prominent Japanese television and film actor. Born on July 21, 1963, in Warabi, Saitama Prefecture, Japan, he stands 173 centimeters tall and has blood type A. Throughout a career spanning multiple decades, Katsumura has established himself as a versatile supporting actor in both cinematic releases and television drama series.

Acting Career

Katsumura began appearing in notable film and television productions in the early 1990s. His early career milestones include a memorable role in Takeshi Kitano's acclaimed 1993 yakuza film Sonatine, where he portrayed Ryoji.

Over the decades, he has built a robust filmography, contributing to major feature films such as Hero (2007), Time Traveller: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2010), Ryuzo And The Seven Henchmen (2015), and Masquerade Night (2021). More recently, he appeared in Kubi (2023), Gekijoban Doctor-X (2024), and Emergency Interrogation Room: The Final (2025).
