Mary Kills People is a South Korean television drama series that premiered on MBC in 2025. The series is a remake of the Canadian television show of the same name, which originally aired on the Global Television Network from 2017 to 2019.

Plot

The story follows Dr. Woo So-Jeong, portrayed by Lee Bo-Young, who operates in a morally complex territory by providing illegal euthanasia services to terminally ill patients suffering from severe pain. She is assisted in these clandestine activities by Dr. Choi Dae-Hyun, played by Kang Ki-Young. Their actions draw the attention of Detective Ban Ji-Hoon, played by Lee Min-Ki, who is tasked with investigating and tracking them down.

Production

The drama was directed by Park Joon-Woo with a screenplay written by Lee Soo-A. It consists of 12 episodes and was broadcast on MBC in the Friday and Saturday 22:00 time slot. The series began its run on August 1, 2025, and concluded on September 12, 2025.

Due to special programming for Korea's National Liberation Day on August 15, 2025, the broadcast of the fifth episode was delayed by one day, airing on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
