Marry My Husband (South Korean Television Series)

Marry My Husband is a South Korean television series that aired on tvN from January 1 to February 20, 2024. The drama, which consists of 16 episodes, was broadcast on Mondays and Tuesdays at 20:50. It is based on the webcomic Nae Nampyeongwa Gyeolhonhaejweo, written by Seong So Jak, which was serialized on Naver between November 2, 2021, and February 28, 2023.

Plot Synopsis

The story follows Kang Ji-Won (played by Park Min-Young), a woman trapped in an unhappy marriage with her unemployed and debt-ridden husband, Park Min-Hwan (Lee Yi-Kyung). While serving as the family's sole breadwinner and managing all household responsibilities, she discovers she has a terminal cancer diagnosis. Her situation turns tragic when she discovers her husband is having an affair with her close friend, Jeong Su-Min (Song Ha-Yoon). Following a physical confrontation, Kang Ji-Won is killed by her husband. Miraculously, she awakens 10 years in the past, during the time she was still dating Park Min-Hwan. Armed with this second chance, she seeks to alter her fate by orchestrating a marriage between Jeong Su-Min and Park Min-Hwan. Throughout her journey, she is supported by Yoo Ji-Hyeok (Na In-Woo), a department chief who harbors secret feelings for her.

Production and Broadcast

The series was directed by Park Won-Gook, with the screenplay adapted by Shin Yoo-Dam. It occupied the Monday and Tuesday 20:50 time slot on tvN, succeeding the series A Bloody Lucky Day and preceding Wedding Impossible, which premiered on February 26, 2024.
