Marriage, Not Dating (Korean: 연애 말고 결혼; RR: Yeonae Malgo Gyeolhon) is a South Korean television series that aired on the cable network tvN in 2014. The romantic comedy series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast on Friday and Saturday nights at 20:50.

Plot

The story follows Kong Ki-tae, a successful man who faces constant pressure from his family to marry. To discourage his family's persistent matchmaking efforts, he devises a plan to introduce them to Joo Jang-mi, a woman he believes they would never approve of as a potential daughter-in-law.

Production

The series was directed by Song Hyun-wook and written by Joo Hwa-mi. The first script reading for the production took place on May 30, 2014, at the CJ E&M Center in the Mapo District of Seoul, South Korea. The show occupied the Friday and Saturday 20:50 time slot on tvN, following the conclusion of Gabdong: The Serial Killer and preceding Plus Nine Boys.
