Manhole (2014 Film)

Manhole (Korean: 맨홀; RR: Maenhol) is a 2014 South Korean horror-thriller film directed and written by Shin Jae-Young. The film explores the story of a serial killer who utilizes the city's manhole network to abduct and murder unsuspecting victims. The narrative follows a young girl who is kidnapped by the killer and the desperate efforts of her older sister to locate and rescue her.

Production

The production of Manhole began in the third week of January 2014. Principal photography concluded on March 31, 2014. The final scene captured during production involved the characters portrayed by Jung Yu-Mi and Kim Sae-Ron being pursued by the antagonist, played by Jung Kyoung-Ho.
