Mama (2014 South Korean TV Series)

Mama is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC from August 2 to October 19, 2014. Directed by Kim Sang-Hyub and written by Yoo Yoon-Kyung, the series consists of 24 episodes and was broadcast during the network's Saturday and Sunday 21:45 time slot.

Plot

The story follows Han Seung-Hee (played by Song Yoon-A), a successful folk painter and dedicated single mother. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she receives a terminal diagnosis. Faced with the reality of her limited time, she becomes deeply concerned about the future of her son, Han Geu-Roo. In an attempt to ensure he has a stable family environment after she is gone, she seeks out her former boyfriend and forms an unexpected friendship with his wife.
