Maids (South Korean TV Series)

Maids (Korean: 하녀들; RR: Hanyeodeul) is a South Korean television series set during the Joseon period. The drama aired on the JTBC network from December 12, 2014, to March 28, 2015, occupying the Friday and Saturday 21:50 time slot.

Plot

The story centers on Kook In-Yeob, the daughter of a noble family known for her beauty and status. Her life changes drastically following an incident that causes her social standing to collapse, forcing her into the lower class as a servant. As she navigates her new reality, she encounters Moo-Myeong, a mysterious man who works as a servant while concealing his true identity. The series follows In-Yeob's struggle to adapt and her journey toward resilience.

Production and Broadcast

The series was directed by Jo Hyun-Tak and written by Jo Hyoun-Kyoung. It consisted of 20 episodes. Maids followed the drama Steal Heart in its time slot and was succeeded by Beating Again on April 3, 2015.
