Lucky Chan-sil
Lucky Chan-sil (Korean: 찬실이는 복도 많지) is a 2020 South Korean independent film written and directed by Kim Cho-hee. The film explores themes of career transition, personal identity, and the pursuit of dreams through the perspective of a middle-aged film producer.

Plot
The story follows Chan-sil (played by Kang Mal-geum), a dedicated film producer who finds herself unemployed after the sudden death of the director she has worked with for her entire career. Facing an uncertain future, she takes a job as a housekeeper for an actress named Sophie (Yoon Seung-ah). While working in this new capacity, she encounters Kim Young (Bae Yoo-ram), a French teacher, and develops feelings for him.
Chan-sil moves into a new residence where she meets her landlady, Bok-sil (Youn Yuh-jung), and a mysterious man named Jang Guk-young (Kim Young-min). Through these new connections, Chan-sil begins to re-evaluate her life and finds the inspiration to pursue her creative dreams once again.

Production and Release
The film was directed and written by Kim Cho-hee. It held its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in October 2019 before its general theatrical release in South Korea on March 5, 2020. The film has a runtime of 96 minutes.

Reception
