Love Fiction (2012 Film)
Love Fiction (Korean: 러브픽션) is a 2012 South Korean romantic comedy film written and directed by Jeon Kye-Su. The film explores the complexities of modern relationships through the perspective of a novelist struggling with his creative process and his personal life.

Plot
Ku Joo-Wol (Ha Jung-Woo) is a novelist experiencing a severe case of writer's block. While accompanying his publisher to a business trip in Berlin, he encounters Hee-Jin (Kong Hyo-Jin) at a film industry event. Joo-Wol becomes immediately infatuated with her. Upon returning to Seoul, he pursues a relationship with her, leading to a series of comedic and dramatic developments as the couple navigates the realities of dating.

The film was directed by Jeon Kye-Su. Principal photography commenced on August 5, 2011, and concluded on November 19, 2011.


Reception and Box Office
Love Fiction was released in South Korea on February 29, 2012. The film performed well commercially, surpassing one million ticket sales within its first week of release. During its opening weekend, which spanned March 2–3, 2012, it sold 567,529 tickets across 615 screens, securing the number one spot at the South Korean box office.
Awards
The film received recognition for its screenplay, with director and writer Jeon Kye-Su winning the Best Screenplay award at the 48th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2012.
