Plot

The film features a bifurcated narrative structure. The first segment follows a granddaughter, played by Han Ye-Ri, who visits her grandfather, portrayed by Ahn Sung-Ki, in a psychiatric ward. The tension arises when the grandfather attempts to offer an apple to a hospital janitor, played by Moon So-Ri. When she rejects the gesture, the grandfather reacts with aggression, leading to a confrontation.

The film subsequently shifts its focus to the production process itself. A member of the lighting crew, played by Park Hae-Il, expresses frustration to the director, Kim Hak-Sun, regarding his inability to understand the concept of love. This leads to a sequence where the lighting crew departs the set with a film canister, blurring the lines between the fictional story and the act of creating cinema.
