Love Alarm Season 2 is a South Korean television series released on Netflix on March 12, 2021. It serves as the second season of the drama series Love Alarm, which is based on the webcomic Joahamyun Woolrineun by Cheon Kye-Young, originally serialized starting in 2014.

The series continues the narrative four years after the introduction of the Joalarm mobile application. The second season introduces an updated version of the app, Joalarm 2.0, which includes new features allowing users to view lists of people who like them and people they are likely to develop feelings for in the future.

Plot Summary

The story focuses on the evolving dynamics between the central characters: Kim Jo-Jo (Kim So-Hyun), Lee Hye-Young (Jung Ga-Ram), and Hwang Sun-O (Song Kang). The introduction of the updated app creates new complications in their relationships. Hye-Young finds hope when Jo-Jo appears on his list of people who will like him. Meanwhile, Sun-O struggles with his lingering feelings for Jo-Jo, despite his belief that she no longer reciprocates his affection because his Joalarm did not ring when they were in proximity.
