Love Affairs in the Afternoon (Korean: 평일 오후 세시의 연인) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on Channel A from July 5 to August 24, 2019. The series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast on Friday and Saturday nights at 23:00.

Background and Production

The series is a remake of the 2014 Japanese drama Hirugao: Love Affairs in the Afternoon, which originally starred Aya Ueto and Michiko Kichise. The Korean adaptation was directed by Kim Jung-Min and written by Yoo So-Jung.

Plot

The story follows Son Ji-Eun (Park Ha-Sun), a woman who moves to a small city due to her husband's career as a civil servant. While working a part-time job at a local mart, she finds her life becoming increasingly monotonous. Her perspective shifts when she encounters Yoon Jung-Woo (Lee Sang-Yeob), a biology teacher at a local school, leading to a complex emotional journey.
