Lobbyist (Korean: 로비스트; RR: Lobiseuteu) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS from October 10 to December 26, 2007. The series, which spanned 24 episodes, was directed by Boo Sung-chul and Lee Hyeon-jik, with a screenplay written by Joo Chan-ok and Choi Wan-kyu.

Plot
The narrative begins in the mid-1980s, following the lives of Maria and Harry, who grow up in a quiet fishing village. After the death of Harry's father, an Army commander killed by a North Korean operative, Harry and his sister relocate to the United States. Maria's family also migrates to the U.S., where her father works as a bus driver until he is killed during a robbery. Harry and Maria eventually cross paths as their lives become increasingly complicated by personal tragedy and international intrigue.
Ten years later, Maria works as a bus driver while her sister, Eva, pursues a career in naval intelligence in Washington, D.C. Maria develops feelings for Tae-hyuk, who is involved with Eva. Meanwhile, Harry navigates a difficult life, eventually becoming involved with a criminal organization after being impressed by the wife of a mafia boss. The plot thickens when the FBI begins investigating Eva for allegedly attempting to steal sensitive military secrets, leading to a series of events that drastically alter Maria's life following her sister's mysterious death.
