Link (Korean: 링크; RR: Ringkeu) is a 2011 South Korean film directed by Woody Han. The film, which blends elements of drama and psychological thriller, explores the complex relationship between a grieving teacher and a student possessing mysterious telepathic powers.

Plot

The story follows Lee Jae-hyun, a man struggling to find meaning in life following the loss of his family in a tragic accident. He secures a teaching position, where he encounters Park Soo-jung, a student who exhibits an uncanny telepathic ability. As their relationship develops, Jae-hyun becomes increasingly drawn to and eventually addicted to the strange power Soo-jung wields, unaware of the manipulative nature of her influence.

Production

The project was written by Woody Han and Song Ee-yeol. Principal photography for the film commenced in June 2009. The film had its world premiere at the Puchon International Film Festival on July 17, 2011, before receiving a wider release in South Korea on July 28, 2011.
