Lim gained significant attention early in her career with her feature film debut in the 2014 erotic drama Obsessed, where she portrayed Jong Ga-Heun. Her performance earned her multiple Best New Actress accolades. She subsequently appeared in various cinematic projects, including The Treacherous (2015), Luck-Key (2016), Tazza: One Eyed Jack (2019), Spiritwalker (2021), and Revolver (2024) as Jung Yoon-Sun.
