Lies of Lies (South Korean TV Series)

Lies of Lies (Korean: 거짓말의 거짓말; RR: Geojitmalui Geojitmal) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on Channel A from September 4 to October 24, 2020. The series consists of 16 episodes and was broadcast on Friday and Saturday nights.

Plot

The story follows Ji Eun-Soo (played by Lee Yu-Ri), a woman who was once the daughter-in-law of a powerful chaebol family. After being convicted of murdering her husband, she serves time in prison. Upon her release, she discovers that her daughter has been adopted by Kang Ji-Min (played by Yeon Jeong-Hun), a reporter known for his cold demeanor. To regain custody of her child, Ji Eun-Soo orchestrates a plan to enter Kang Ji-Min's life by pretending to fall in love with him, hoping to become the child's stepmother.

Production

The production process began with the first script reading in late January 2020 in South Korea. Filming for the series commenced in February 2020.
