Liar (2004 South Korean Film)

Liar (Korean: 라이어; RR: Raieo) is a 2004 South Korean comedy film written and directed by Kim Kyung-Hyung. The film explores the complications of a man attempting to maintain two separate romantic relationships simultaneously.

Plot

The story follows Jeong Man-cheol, a taxi driver who leads a double life, maintaining romantic relationships with two different women. His carefully constructed facade begins to unravel on his birthday when he inadvertently assists in the capture of a high-profile criminal. The resulting media attention and public acclaim as a "Brave Citizen" threaten to expose his secret life, forcing him into increasingly desperate situations to keep his two worlds apart.
