Lee Su-A (2017 Film)

Lee Su-A is a South Korean drama film released on November 29, 2017. The film was directed by Son Hyun-Woo, who also contributed to the screenplay. The production was managed by Kim Joon-Hee and No Hong-Sik, with cinematography by Ko Tae-Hyun.

Plot

The narrative follows the life of Lee Su-A (played by Jo Soo-Ha), a woman struggling to manage the financial burden of her mother's medical care, as her mother suffers from dementia. While she finds emotional support from her friend Jang Hae-Joo (Kim Kyung-Yoon), Su-A faces persistent sexual harassment in her workplace. After she formally reports the harassment, the company retaliates against her rather than the perpetrator, resulting in her termination. Amidst these mounting personal and professional crises, she encounters her first love, Son Woo-Jin (played by director Son Hyun-Woo).
