Lee Jung-jae
Lee Jung-jae (born December 15, 1972) is a prominent South Korean actor and filmmaker. Born in Seoul, he pursued higher education at Dongguk University, where he majored in Drama. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a model in 1993 before transitioning into acting.

Acting Career
Lee made his film debut in 1994 with The Young Man. Over the following decades, he established himself as a versatile performer in South Korean cinema. His filmography includes notable roles in The Housemaid (2010), The Thieves (2012), New World (2013), and The Face Reader (2013), for which he received critical recognition. He gained significant international prominence for his lead role as Seong Gi-hun in the Netflix series Squid Game (2021).
Directorial Work
In 2022, Lee expanded his professional scope by writing and directing the action-thriller film Hunt, in which he also starred as Park Pyung-ho. His work on the film earned him the Best New Director award at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards.
