Lee Deok-Hwa: Biography and Career of the South Korean Actor
Lee Deok-Hwa (born May 8, 1952) is a prominent veteran South Korean actor who has built a prolific career spanning several decades across both film and television. Born in South Korea, he established himself as a recognizable figure in the Korean entertainment industry through numerous starring and supporting roles.

Acting Career
Lee Deok-Hwa began his acting career in the 1970s, appearing in numerous domestic feature films such as Let's Talk About Youth (1976), When the First Snow Falls (1977), and On the Night Train (1979). Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he maintained an active presence in cinema with projects including Wild College Boys (1982), The Street Musician (1987), and I Will Survive (1993).
In addition to his film work, Lee transitioned into television dramas, gaining widespread recognition for playing powerful antagonists, historical monarchs, and authoritative father figures. Some of his notable television credits include All In (2003), The King Dae Joyoung (2006–2007), Giant (2010), History of the Salaryman (2012), May Queen (2012), Hotel King (2014), and Business Proposal (2022). He also portrayed King Yeongjo in the historical drama The Red Sleeve (2021).
