Late Blossom (2012 South Korean Television Series)

Late Blossom (Korean: 그대를 사랑합니다; RR: Keudaereul Saranghamnida) is a 2012 South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS Plus. The series is based on the popular webtoon of the same name by author Kang Pool, which was first published on April 17, 2007, via the Daum Webtoon platform.

Plot

The narrative follows Kim Man-Seok (played by Lee Soon-Jae), a man who spent his career working for a construction company. Following the death of his wife, he seeks to atone for his past behavior toward her by working as a milk delivery person. His life takes a turn when he encounters Song Yi-Bbun (Jeong Yeong-Suk), a woman who makes a living recycling paper, and the two begin to develop a romantic connection.

Parallel to this story, the series features Jung Min-Chae (Kim Hyung-Jun), a former student at Seoul University who became a prominent figure in the gaming industry. After a tragic incident involving a game he created, he travels extensively before returning to work as a civil service officer. He eventually meets Kim Yeon-Ah (Kim Yoon-Seo), a social worker and the granddaughter of Kim Man-Seok, leading to a secondary romantic storyline.
