Last Summer (Korean: 마지막 썸머; RR: Majimak Summer) is a South Korean television drama series broadcast on the KBS2 network. Directed by Min Yeon-Hong and written by Jeon Yoo-Ri, the series comprises 12 episodes and aired from November 1 to December 7, 2025, occupying the Saturday and Sunday 21:20 time slot.
Plot Synopsis
The narrative centers on twin brothers Baek Do-Ha and Baek Do-Yeong (both portrayed by Lee Jae-Wook), who were separated following their parents' divorce during their youth. The younger brother, Baek Do-Ha, relocated to the United States, while the older brother, Baek Do-Yeong, remained in South Korea. Every summer, Baek Do-Ha returns to South Korea for a 21-day stay in a duplex house shared with his father and brother. During these visits, he interacts with Song Ha-Kyeong (Choi Sung-Eun), a next-door neighbor whose father shares a close friendship with the twins' father. Although Song Ha-Kyeong spent her youth bickering with Baek Do-Ha during his seasonal visits, she eventually develops romantic feelings for him, remaining unexpressed due to the seasonal nature of his arrivals. In their adult lives, Baek Do-Ha works as an architect, while Song Ha-Kyeong serves as an architectural public official. An incident occurring two years prior to the main timeline introduces significant complications into the lives of Song Ha-Kyeong and the twin brothers.
