Last Child (Korean: 살아남은 아이; RR: Salanameun Ayi) is a 2018 South Korean drama film written and directed by Shin Dong-seok. The film examines the psychological aftermath of a tragic accident and the complex dynamics of grief and redemption.

Plot Summary
The story centers on Jin Sung-chul and Lee Mi-sook, a couple struggling to cope with the death of their son, who drowned while attempting to save his classmate, Yoon Ki-hyun. The couple encounters Ki-hyun, the boy who survived the incident, and begins to form an unexpected connection with him. As they attempt to help him, they uncover uncomfortable truths about the circumstances of their son's death, forcing them to confront their own suppressed emotions and the nature of their grief.
Production and Release
The film was produced by Je Jeong-ju and features cinematography by Lee Ji-hoon. It held its world premiere in October 2017 at the Busan International Film Festival. The film was subsequently released in South Korean theaters on August 30, 2018. It has a total runtime of 124 minutes.
