Kwak Dong-Yeon: Biography and Career Overview

Kwak Dong-Yeon (Hangul: 곽동연) is a South Korean actor born in March 1997. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in numerous television drama series, films, and television movies, establishing a recognizable presence in the South Korean entertainment industry.

Acting Career and Notable Works

Kwak began his television career early, securing roles in notable series such as My Husband Got a Family in 2012 and the drama special Puberty Medley in 2013. Over the years, he expanded his repertoire by taking on diverse characters across multiple broadcasting networks and streaming platforms.

Some of his prominent television drama credits include the historical drama Love in the Moonlight (2016), the youth romance ID: Gangnam Beauty (2018), and critically and commercially recognized series such as Vincenzo (2021) as Chairman Jang Han-Seo, It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020), and Queen of Tears (2024) as Hong Soo-Cheol.

In addition to television, Kwak has maintained an active presence in feature films, appearing in projects such as Misbehavior (2017), Man of Will (2017), the military comedy film 645 (2022), and Love in the Big City (2024).
