Konin Todoke ni Han wo Oshita dake desu ga (Japanese: 婚姻届に判を捺しただけですが) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TBS from October 19 to December 21, 2021. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Aoharu Yuki, which began serialization in the magazine Feel Young on September 8, 2017.
Plot
The story follows Akiha Okada (Nana Seino), a 27-year-old designer at Morita Design who values her independence and has no desire for marriage. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Shu Momose (Kentaro Sakaguchi), a 30-year-old employee at an advertising agency. Shu, who is highly regarded by his colleagues, is seeking a partner for a "fake marriage" for personal reasons. When Akiha's grandmother faces financial trouble with her restaurant, Akiha agrees to enter a marriage of convenience with Shu in exchange for a loan of five million yen. As they navigate their life together, their relationship evolves beyond the initial arrangement.
Production and Broadcast
The series was directed by Fuminori Kaneko and Kentaro Takemura, with screenplays by Shigenori Tanabe and Satoko Okazaki. It occupied the Tuesday 22:00 time slot on TBS, succeeding Promise Cinderella and preceding Fight Song. The drama concluded with an average viewership rating of 10.0% in the Kanto region.
